Drug Court is a program designed to serve as an alternative to the incarceration of individuals battling drug addiction who are charged with non-violent crimes. The programís goal is to stop substance abuse and its associated criminal activity. Out-patient treatment and drug testing are mandatory parts of the program and coordinated through the judicial system. The criminal records of all successful drug court participants are expunged.
